Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Chair Massage

Chair massage is a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension right in your home or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Also, chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule.

Crystal Healing

FAQ about Crystal Healing.

Q. What is Crystal Healing?
A. Crystal healing is an ancient art of laying-on-of-stones to help heal the energetic field of an individual. It is now in modern times a form of alternative medicine. The crystals are placed in positions which correspond with the energy openings known as Chakras. The opening of these energy portals helps facilitate healing  of dis-ease in the physical and spiritual bodies. Crystals are also placed around the body in geometric patterns to enhance the positive energy flow.

Q. What is the healing session going to feel like?
A. Each healing session is personal. Your session will not feel like the session of the person before you or even any of  your own previous healing sessions.

Q. Do I have to get naked?
A. NO. Please no. At the very most I may ask you to take off your shoes but that is as naked as you will be.

Q. Do you touch me?
A. Only with your permission when placing stones on and around your body.

Q. How long is the healing session?
A. Typically they are an hour long. On the occasion depending on the work being done it may take longer.

Q. Do I have to fill out paperwork, why?
A. Yes, you do have some questions to answer prior to your session. I only ask for the information for session records. I want to be able to make notes on what has worked and what has not. It will be a record of your treatment and a reference for the stones used during your session.

Q. Is this going to replace my regular family doctor visits?
A. NO. Crystal healing is a supplement to your current medical treatments. It is not meant to replace treatment from a qualified medical practitioner.

Q. Do you use anything else besides crystals in the session?
A.  Yes, in conjunction with the crystals I also burn sage, or Palo Santo to cleanse the room and energetic fields of those participating. I've found that soft meditation music and low lights comfort the client and help the healing process. A Tibetan singing bowl is also used to help clear the energy fields of both practitioner and client.

Q. Can I practice crystal healing at home?
A. YES! In fact, I encourage you to start right now. If you have a chance locate a piece of Black Tourmaline and a piece of Selenite. Keep these two in your bedroom or the room you spend the most time in to help cleanse your energy.

Q. Can I talk during a healing session?
A. yes, please describe your experience, but let us keep it related to your session. If you feel uncomfortable in any way that information needs to be communicated, please do so.

Q. What are the benefits of repeat sessions.
A. Normally after your first session the rest are tune-up sessions. We take that opportunity to work on specific issues. For example, pain, headaches, emotional blockages, overcoming fears and anxiety.

These are just a few of the general questions I've received from people. If you have a specific question please do not hesitate to ask!
